TrackHero changelog
Hello everyone. We’re shipping new version v0.4.6 to TrackHero today. Here’s what have changed.
TrackHero changelog: v0.4.5 and v0.4.6
Highlights
- Hide laps instead of deleting them. A bad lap (traffic, red flag, off-track) can now be hidden from the session. It drops out of best lap, Insights, Compare, sector times and track leaderboards. Changed your mind? Untick it and it’s back. Nothing is lost anymore.
- Onboard videos are simpler. Pick a YouTube link and a lap range (from lap, to lap). No more typing start & end timestamps. Each lap with video gets a small camera icon, and “Watch onboard” is a button at the end of the row.
- My sessions is now home. The old dashboard feed is gone. After login you land straight on your own sessions.
Mobile
- Session lists without sideways scrolling. On phones, My sessions, Shared with me, profile, garage and track pages show a compact list: track, date, best lap, length and tire. Tap anywhere on a session to open it.
- Lap table legend. On phones the lap table drops the Best/Out/In/Cooldown pills. Rows are colour-coded instead, with a small legend on top. Only the lap number stays pinned while you scroll the sectors.
- Session edit page fits the screen. The entire page should be much simpler to navigate and show important information at a glance.
- Insights opens on Config and no longer lets you scroll into an empty strip below the screen.
- Google Drive uploads work in Chrome on Android (v0.4.5). Picking a file from Drive used to fail with ERR_UPLOAD_FILE_CHANGED. Files are now read into memory before upload.
Smaller things
- Session dates follow your browser’s language and region (e.g. “Oct 4, 2026, 11:26 AM” or “4. 10. 2026, 11:26”), still in the track’s local time.
- Clicking anywhere on a session row opens it, on desktop too.
- Slovak: the export button now just says “Exportovať”.
