TrackHeroOverlay

TrackHero Overlay changelog

Hello everyone. We’ve shipped v1.5.0, v1.6.0 and v1.6.1 to TrackHero Overlay over the last two days. Here’s what have changed.

TrackHero Overlay changelog: v1.5.0 to v1.6.1

Highlights

  • OBD panel. If your VBO has OBD channels (throttle position, manifold pressure, coolant temp and optionally oil temp), the overlay now shows a new panel with brake and throttle pedals, a boost bar and coolant & oil temps. Throttle is scaled to the session’s own range, so it actually reads 0-100% instead of being stuck few percent off. Brake pedal lights up under heavy braking (more than 0.2 G). You can toggle it like any other HUD element.
  • Lap exports look better. When you export a lap range, the video now starts 7s before the lap and ends 5s after it, so you get the run up into the lap. It also fades in and out over 2.5s, both video and audio.

VBOs from other loggers

  • Built-in start/finish lines. VBOs without lap timing (e.g. from Dragy) now get laps for Slovakia Ring, Vysoké Mýto and Nordschleife BTG. No need to set up the lines yourself.
  • G-force from GPS. VBOs without G columns get G-force computed from GPS, so the G-force gauge isn’t empty anymore.

Smaller things

  • Footer now links to trackhero.app and the coffee link is gone (v1.6.1).
